H1B Cap exempt was filed by my employer for me in September 2015. I got the receipt # and since then, the website https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do shows status as "On September 18, 2015, we received your Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, Receipt Number EAC **** , and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by October 18, 2015, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283."
Its already been over a year now. my company is telling that the case has been filed and as per them they raise service request and get a standard reply that the case has not been picked yet. No one is providing any timeline.
I doubt that there is something fishy in this whole thing. How can I validate the whole scenario?
