Urgent H1 Help

Working on STEM OPT for an employer A. Filing H1 visa through employer A & B. If H1 gets approved for employer B and not for the current employer A, can I request transfer of H1 from employer B to A without starting to work for employer B before October?( won't have pay stubs for employer B)
Also does employer B needs to be related to the same field?

USCIS sometime allows sometimes denies a transfer before a status has begun.
