How to recover old I797 H1B approval notice?? PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi,

I have misplaced my old H1B approval notice (I797) from 8 years back. Now my attorney is asking for it.
How can I get a replacement? Is there any way I can back track it?

Only the employer who filed for it can request it. The only other option is to request for it through the FOIA which can take months. I dont think its an absolute necessity to give that.
