Transfer H1b to Company B after i94 expired, extension with company A is pending
My Current I94 expired on Jan 5th 2017 and Company A I currently work for applied for my extension in Nov 2016 under normal process. (wait time will be 4-5 month total they said)
I accepted new position with company B Today (Feb 3, 2017) and they agreed to transfer my Visa under Premium Processing.
If Company B apply as a Bridge partition then I have to wait for results of my company A extension which could take longer. (or might get approved this month...)
I read in other forum posts that it is possible to transfer H1B without transfer I94, and I just need to go back to my home country to get a new entry visa for new I94 stamp.
Anyone done this before?
