Hi,
I am planning to apply Change of status for my wife who is on F1, she was enrolled in NorthWestern Polytechnic University(NPU), the university has lost its accreditation in December 2016. She is into her final semester which starts on May 15th!
So, if i apply for change of status this week, does she still need to enroll for classes?
Question i had is, if she does not enroll in classes, does she be still considered in status? (expecting, we receive receipt for change of status a week after we send the documents to USCIS). I was told, she can stay on basis of that receipt as long as decision is pending!
Can anyone help me on this please.
