  • H1-B Transfer Receipt Notice taking too long: April-May2017

My new employer filed for an H1-B transfer on April 25 2017. I was told that a receipt notice would be received in about a week after the application has been filed.

It has been about 10 days and neither a receipt notice has been received nor a check has been cashed.

Anyone else in the same boat as I?

Mine got filed on the same day as you.

My lawyers told me to wait 2-3 weeks. Please let me know if there is any updates. Good luck!

My check got cashed on last Wednesday, 05/10/2017. I don't see the USCIS website update the receipt number.
