221g Administrative Processing - White Slip

Hi, I came to India on vacation over expired Visa but approved Extension. I was eligible for Dropbox facility for Visa stamping and opted for same. But unfortunately, they returned my Passport and asked for personal interview with finger-printing. I did the same but again in personal interview they gave me white slip asking for End Client Letter, Contract documents and Itinerary of my employment. Since my client doesn't provide Client letter hence I submitted substitute letters along with requested documents to support. It's been 3 running weeks and I didn't get any update.

Can anyone had same experience and shared some light over this situation.

Also, suggest what would be better port of entry in today's scenario among Chicago, Newark or Abu Dhabi?
