H1b extension on top of another h1b extension

Hi

My H1b petition was expired on 05/22/2017 and I have applied for the H1b extension with the recapturing days(60 days requesting till July 20 2017) which is still under processing. Now my I140 is approved on 06/15/2017, I got the document in hand on 07/01/2017.

Question is

1) Can i apply for now apply for h1b extension using my I140 on top of my recapturing days h1b extension is still under processing.

2) If I can please let me know when I can apply my extension using my I140.

Please let me know what would be the best option if any. Thanks in advance.
