H1 Transfer from India

I got my VISA stamping done 2 months back . H1B approved with the US company xxxx .
VISA stamping done , In the VISA i can see the company name .

Is There any possibility to transfer my H1b to another company without travelling to US .
I heard that 45 days need to work to transfer to another company .

Is it applicable if I am trying from India . Can I change company before relocating to US.

Though the visa has the company name, it technically does not belong to that employer. Yes another employer can file a cap exempt H1 petition for you, once their petition is approved they will get a new i797. Then either you can use the new I797 to get a new visa stamp with the new company name on it, or you can use the existing visa and travel to US and show your new company I797 at the Port of Entry.
