H1B Visa Interview, Chennai - 221(g) Blue Slip. Can I still transfer petition?
Hello Forum Members,
I attended my H1B visa interview on September 6th at the Chennai Consulate and received 221(g) blue slip stating that my visa is refused for administrative processing and will be considered for further processing after administrative processing is completed.
I am out of work now and looking for work in India. If I do get a job, could you please tell me if I can transfer my petition to my new employer? I have completed 6 years on my h1b and currently on the 7th year with an approved I140. Also, can I be exempted from h1b cap if my new employer files for h1b?
Any information regarding the possibility of transferring my petition to a new employer provided that I have completed 6 years already would be really helpful.
