As of now (18 October 2017), I’m residing in the US on F1 Student visa. I’m pursuing MS in Computer Science (STEM) from a reputed university and will graduate on 20 December 2017. I have a job offer and will begin work on 15 January 2018. I got OPT approved from 15 January 2018 to 14 January 2019.
My Question – Let us assume I get picked up in H1B lottery on 2 April 2018. How soon can I bring my wife and son to the US on H4 dependent visa as they are currently in India? They have never been to the US before (I know I can bring them on F2 dependent visa, but I first want to explore the option of H4 dependent visa)
