Moved from H1 to H4 too soon..EAD date and H4 date mismatch

    I was wondering can I start working using EAD immediately (once i get my card) or do I need to wait till Dec-15th 2017 when my H4 kicks in.

    Also any ideas on when could i get EAD card? got approval notice today (Nov 14th) and it has been approved a week back (Nov 7th)

    Moved from H1 to H4 too soon..EAD date and H4 date mismatch

    I had recently applied for change of status from H1 to H4 with EAD.

    I got both approval notices today.

    My H4 (i539) kicks in from the Dec-15th 2017.

    EAD approval notice (i765) is dated Nov-7th 2017 (I received this today Nov-14th)...says EAD card has separately been mailed.

    I was wondering can I start working using EAD immediately (once i get my card) or do I need to wait till Dec-15th 2017 when my H4 kicks in.

    Also any ideas on when could i get EAD card?

    All this has come from the Nebraska office.

    Any guidance!??
