Being on a non-profit condo board on H1b?

Hi,

I own a condo and have been asked by the board to volunteer as the treasurer for the condo association. This would require me to be an authorized user on the condo associations business bank account. I will just be managing payments and tracking financials. Can I be an authorized user on the associations bank account on H1B? I will not be compensated in any way financially or otherwise for this work.

This is fine. In general, you can serve non-profits in an uncompensated capacity. That includes homeowners associations, whether or not it has obtained 501(c)(4) tax exempt status
