H1B visa stamping (first time) in Canada

Hi guys,

I am currently staying in USA with my H1B status. I would like to stamp the H1B visa (first time) from Toronto, Canada. Note that I am a Legal Permanent Resident of Canada. Can I apply the visa from there? Will I be considered as a Third Country National (TCN) in US embassy in Toronto, Canada? Also, How long it will take to get an visa interview appointment date there?

I guess if you are not citizen you would be considered TCN. Visa slot availability can only be seen after filling ds 160 and paying MRV fee. If some one else is already in the process of booking they can view the slots calendar.

Did you went to Canada for extension ? Also what you selected option for are you travelling from other country to apply visa in canada ?
since if i select NO i am getting date early as compared to selecting YES
