Hello All,
I am on H1b in USA. Recently married in India and now my wife is going to apply for her H4.
Last year I was in and out of hospital and for several reasons had to take days off. As a result my last year W2 is significantly less than what my Salary should be.
Now I am in dilemma that in my employment verification letter, shall we mention my last year W2 is the salary, so that there is no conflict in the numbers, or shall we state the salary amount what it should be, and show the W2 as is, and if asked, tell about being absent. My company is flexible enough and happy to put whatever I need for document purpose. One of the reasons, I wanted to put the actual salary, that number looks better on paper. Though in both the cases I am above the declared poverty level.
