Hi,
I am on H1B and my VISA is expiring on 23rd Aug, 2018. My wife is on H4 and she has valid I-797 till 23rd Aug, 2018. My wife is planning to visit India in August. My employer is going to file my H1B extension in couple of days. I am not planning to apply extension for my wife as she is going to India and anyway she have to go for stamping in India as her stamp will expire after 23rd Aug, 2018. But what is my doubt is, does she will have to go to Mumbai for the interview or she can go for Dropbox. I understand that her stamping expires within a month so she doesn't need to go for the stamping but in her case she will not have any extension once she reach India.
