Resignation without H1B Transfer in India
Hi All,
Currently I've been working with an employer A in India. My Visa status is currently approved till 2020 via extension, but is not stamped yet. As I've read on various portals, that my current employer cannot cancel my Visa if I resign, it can only notify USCIS that the employee has resigned and Visa can be revoked. Is it correct? Can I resign from my current employer without getting my Visa transfer? Can I later apply for transfer, once I find job with a new employer? How long gap between resigning and applying for transfer is valid?
