H4 EAD renewal denied because of using outdated form?
I have applied for my Spouse H4 EAD extension recently and got a denial letter and the entire package back saying this is rejected because the form used is an outdated version. However, the form we used was downloaded from the USCIS website and the same form is still up on their website.
The only difference is the edition number on the bottom left. The date on the bottom left is different between the I-765 form we submitted and the one that is currently online on USCIS website. But the form we used was current when we downloaded. There is also another issue. The current I-765 form form on the USCIS website has "Expires 02/28/2018" printed on the top right. What should we do? Download the latest form and reapply using the same documents? Will this rejection have any impact when we reapply? Any info is appreciated.
