Hi,
My wife is currently on J2 and had been working on EAD for the past 1.5 yrs. I am about to start my J1 waiver and my wife is also about to start her job on a H1b visa. For the DS160 application, in the section on what is the visa issued, what should we answer?
She got the I797 for J2 approval and a DS2019 as well. However we never travelled back to India and so there is no visa stamping for the J2. Should we still say J2 visa and if so there would be no visa number or instead state H1b visa that she was on prior to being on J2. We would really appreciate any input. Thank you
