I understand one can travel internationally once you have applied for H4 EAD and are awaiting approval.
I am in the same state, I am about to apply for an H4 EAD and need to travel to India post application. A few questions -
1.Is it true that one has to go for the fingerprinting appointment? Is it mandatory?
2. Any idea within how many days this must be done ?
3. Do you get an invite or do you have to schedule this appointment on your own ?
4. If you have your h4 Visa stamped and have fingerprinting done once in India, do you still need to do this in USA ?
Any advice here will be much appreciated.
