F1 OPT to H1 question
Hi everyone,
Need help from personal experiences or experts on a couple of things.
1)Has anyone recently visited India for H1B stamping for F1 to H1? Any experience shared would be really helpful. I am hearing that F1OPT to H1 goes into administrative processing and then it can take weeks/ months to get the visa.
2)Also, if anyone can throw light on the PMIP and how long after the H1 becomes active, the PMIP is active or is made available to the consulate?
3) Is it more advisable to go to Canada / 3rd country for first time H1 stamping ( F1 OPT to H1)
