Hello,
My wife is planning to travel to India this November and filled in DS-160 for her H4 stamping. Her currently stamped visa expired in Sep 2017 (less than a year ago). When filling in her questionnaire related to Interview waiver eligibility, it shows me that she is eligible for Interview waiver as her currently stamped visa is less than 12 months after expiration.
Question - is she really eligible as when she goes for visa document drop off, it will be around November and back then her visa will be expired more than 12 months? Is the less than 12 month requirement from the date you fill DS-160 or date of scheduled interview/drop off?
