H1 transfer & Documents for visitor visa for a relative

Hello,

Here is my situation. Would appreciate if anyone can guide me in right direction.

1. currently working for company A in US and has valid h1 till oct 2006

2. got through a new job at company B and considering for a visa transfer

3. my mother in law is planning to visit us by november for which i believe i need to send some documents during her visa interview

Now the question is

1. considering my current visa/I94 expires in oct 2006, when i can apply for h1 transfer safely without worrying about denials etc

2. While my h1 transfer petition for comapny B is pending approval, can i apply for extension through company A. If i dont my apprehension they might get to know.

3. Once i apply for h1 transfer, should i send the documents for my MILs visa process based on current h1 or should i wait for the approval process to complete to send the documents. Or is it ok if i send the H1b transfer receipt along with current h1 documents
