H1 amendment denied

Hi,

As i got promoted in current organization so they filed for H1 amendment; but unfortunately it got REF and got denial later.
I am still waiting from lawyer for the reason of denial. Since my H1 is valid till Jan 2020 so lawyer said i can still stay and work till that time.
i have few question -

- Do we really need to do amendment for promotion like from product specialist to senior product specialist
- What should be my next step- again apply for amendment or wait till July 2019 and apply for extension directly
- Since H1 amendment got denial; so will it affect my future H1 extension/transfer?
