Hi,
I have a valid H1-B visa. My wife is on L1-A visa (valid till March-2020) and my daughter is her dependent. Last year, we all got eh stamping done in India for our respective visas.
Recently, my wife got her H1-B visa petition approved (valid till March-2021). However, her immigration team says that in order to get our daughter transferred to H-4 visa, she has to travel to India.
Has any changes happened around dependent visa that one has to travel to India for getting the stamping done? Can't my daughter stay here and the immigration team file for Change of Status once my wife's L1 visa expires?
Any suggestions will be of great help.
