You will have to take a letter from your husband and his employer explaining why there is no pay-slip for that month. Delay in getting the SSN is a good reason.

      Hi Veena,

I am in a similar situation. I came here on April and got my ssn in mid may and started working from june. my wife is attending the H4 stamping in chennai in sep. Is there anything else we can say for the missing payslip?

Also, my employer had given me an advance in may, but no payslip for it..Can we say that I was getting paid during may?

      Kindly help..

      Regards

Provide some kind of relevant explanation from the employer, more importantly, brief your wife on how to handle this type of a question from the Visa Officer. As I said earlier, delay in obtaining SSN is a good reason........make sure that you have supporting evidence of whatever reason you cite for not having received a pay.
