Very Urgent - 221g Additional documents.

My wife got 221g and they asked her to submit I-129,LCA, and Paystubs (which were ticked in blue pen in the bluesheet) via VFS dropbox. After initial interview at the consulate, VO issued blue sheet and returned passport and DD to her.

Now the questions are:

1. Do we have to submit the passport and DD along with above documents or do we need to submit only checked documents in the 221g bluesheet.?

2. Do we have to all H4 related documents or the documents that were checked by VO for AAP?

Please do let me know as she is going tomorrow to submit the papers. Please reply me asap.

You will have to submit all supporting documents for the H4 visa, the documents requested and the visa application form DS 156 downloaded and filled up again by your wife from http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/us...orms_1342.html
Check if the blue letter instructs you to drop the PP and DD. If not then wait for the consulate to peruse these documents nd ask for the same.

Do not submit the PP and DD unless the blue letter asks you to do so. The Visa officer might go through the additional documents and then call for a personal interview again. Just follow the instructions.

Got Visa, but consulate returned Visa Issuance Fees.

Veena and/or other senior members,

I am really confused with here, my wife H4 visa issued as I can see her visa on the passport. But the package returned from the US consulate does contain DD Rs.2300/- (Visa Issuance Fees) DD.

How can it is possible visa issue without taking visa issuance fees. When I contacted DOS in US, they were asking me to contact Chennai consulate as it might be a mistake by the consulate. The current status on the application is "Visa Issued". Please help me what should I do now?
