H1B 2007 Quota

Hi All,

I had applied H1B(2007Quota), the Consultant gave me the USCIS receipt Number. I tracked the number and USCIS says that they had received the application on 31 May 2006.

Actually USCIS says that the last date is 26 May 2006. Does it mean will my H1 is accepted or rejected. My head says it will be rejected but the Consultant says it will be accepted. so will it be accepted or rejected.
If any body has any clue, please advice.

i think ur application will go in 2007 quota. they dont just reject the application.

Is yours master's Quota or 65K Quota?

Hi, same problem here. I received a receipt number - good first step! - but the website says Jun 9 as the receipt date. I'm wondering what this means - do immigration officers consider cases looking only at the receipt number or do they consult receipt dates too (in which case they might reject it based on the date)?

Also, do applications ever get incorrectly accepted under the advanced degree exception quota? I have a Masters, albeit from a different country, could they have gotten confused?
