Good News - Got H1-B Stamped.

Folks,

First of all thanks to all of you for sharing your experiences. It has been really helpful.

I got my H1 stamped today and here is the experience:

Appointment Time was at 10:30AM in Delhi. Went there at 9:30AM and therwe was long queue. I went with Baby and wife and because of kid, preference was given to get into faster lane. Kid and wife went inside and i submitted the forms at the counter outside and got in the queue to go in.

Went inside the embassy and got finger prints done for all three of us and then was directed by a lady to go in the 1st queue having least number of people - becuase we had kid with us :-)

Visa officer (VO) called us in 5 mins and here it how it went...

Me: Good Morning.
VO: Hi, good moring. how are you doing ?
Me: Fine thanx.
VO: Have you been to USA earlier.
Me: Yes, twice - once in xxxxx and then in xxxx
VO: Which company you are working with in India?
Me: YYYY
VO: What is your salary with the company in US?
Me: YYYY
VO: Who all are their in US - relatives / cousions
Me: YYYY
VO: What are they doing there?
Me: Working...
VO: With which companies they are working?
Me: Named the companies...
VO: What visa they have - green card , citizen /etC?
Me: working visa
VO: How old is the kid?
Me: YYYY months
VO: Can you show the baby face.
Me: yes please....
VO: Baby is cute.
Me: Thnx.
VO: Congrats, you will get visa in 3-4 working days...
Me: Thanks Much !!!

So looks like with Kid things are a cake walk..and all went through fine in 15mins. Thank God !!! it finally got through.
