Document translation in English

Dear all
My wife is going for her H4 interview in Kolkota. I am currently in germany and has my H1 stamped. My all the salary slips are in german language.

My questions:
1) Do I need to translate those doc to English?

2) Do i need to get it done in Germnay or India will do?

3) Will just translation with original do or I need to get it notarized also? If yes from where?
