Regarding port of Entry

Hi Friends,

I got H1B today from Mumbai Consulate. My working location for in-house project is Chicago so my port of entry will be Chicago (I guess). But my sister is in Colorado Springs and I wants to visit her first. I wants to go Denver first so my port of entry will be Denver.

So is it ok to go Denver or not? I am worried that while port of entry if the immigration person asked me that why you are going to colorado springs instead of Chicago? Is it ok to tell family visit?

Please let me know. I have to book ticket accordingly.

If you have valid visa, you can go anywhere in US.
If asked, you can answer the officer's questions.
