Job change during H1 extension

I am on H1 and my term ends May 2008. My current employer holds my Labor certificate and also my I 140 is cleared. My current H1 is valid till Oct 2007. Since my I140 is cleared i can apply for a 3 years H1 extension. Once i apply for my H1 extension for 3 years can i change my job?

My H1 can be extended because of my I140 which is specific to my current employer. Once i get a 3 year H1 extension this October can i change my Job. If i change my Job will the H1 be valid and can i transfer my H1 with another employer?
