From B1 to H1

Happy new year.

hope every body is doing fine.

i have got 10 year multiple entry B1/B2 visa sponsered by my company.

i have sister in us having green card.

she wants me to go to us personally to meet her on my B1/B2 visa status.

can i go to meet her and she also wants me to search the job there and get the h1 b visa there.

is it possible to get the same after going there.

What is the risk assoiciated with this.

Please guide.

---- You can find a job, that is never an issue. The facts reveal after that. The employer sponsoring your H1 cannot guarantee that you will be getting an I-94 on H1 for you to continue staying in the US.

---- Essentially you have to go out of the country, attend an interview at a US Consulate for your H1 Visa, get is issued and affixed on your Passport and then return to US.

---- Your I-94 for B1/B2 is only for that Visa and does not cover any other Visa
