Hello,
I am traaveling to India without form I797. My H1 is approved but the I797 was lost in postal transit.
I will have to go because of a family emergency and will have to wait there till I get the I-797 from my company.
Can someone tell me which I-94 am I to give when leaving the US now? I was on F1 visa and this is my first time H1. I have the I-94 from the F1 and I can give that when leaving. But I dont know if that is the correct thing to do.
As far as I know I am supposed to give the I-94 that is attached with the I-797. Can someone please help.
