Can we file L1 and H1 application at the same time ?

Hi,

I have a query, it would be nice if any one can provide any suggestions or guide me to some other resources.

Query: Is it possible or allowed to apply for L1 from company X and H1 from company Y for a person? I mean is it like both the applications going to be rejected or it doesnt matter person can apply for L1 and H1 Simultaneously.

---- Yes, you can apply for L1 and H1 simultaneously. Each application will be treated as an independent application and reviewed accordingly as per the merits of the situation

---- At the time of the Visa interview for L1 and H1 you will be questioned about your intention and you have to provide a convincing answer for that

---- The choice at the POE is too far away and yes, you can declare your intentions at the POE to be on L1 or H1.

---- However, after entering US if you wish to change from one status to the other you will have to go out of the country to secure a Visa stamp on your Passport and only then enter US
