Whether I should process the IDP from the RTO (here in India). I would like to know whether the IDP is required for driving car in USA? please share ur exp.

---- More than the IDP, you should know the rules and regulations for driving in the US and the specific state where you will be working and residing and driving

---- In some states the IDP is permitted to be used for a period of 3-6 months. After that you should have a driving licence based on the state of residence

---- All matters considered you should have a valid driving license, registration and insurance for the car you will be driving and the insurance should be on your name.

---- You may access dmv.org and click the the state of residence for all the rules
