Got H1B visa after getting 221G twice
Hi All,
I am very active reader of this discussion board and it has helped me a lot for preparing me for H1B and my family for H4 visa interviews. All you guys thanks a lot.
I first had my visa intervoew at Chennai on December 8 and was issued 221G asking for all the documents from petioner. I submitted them on January 8 and to my dissaopintemnt got 221G again on February 8. My US company were very coopertive and promptly sent all the documents on march 6 and I dropped all of them in VFS drop box Bangalore.
Hurray !! I was very happy to get my H1 and my dependants' H4 visa stamped on passports on 27 March 2007.
So anyone in the similar situation dont loose heart. You would get visa if all the documents are perfect.
But one thing is I did not get back the original documents like LCA, Notice of Action and the original appointment letter of my petioner company back yet. Does anyone know waht is procedure to get them back or consulate would send them back?
