H1 and H4 at same time?

Hi All,
Iam currently doing Masters in US. I have a job offer. I will gradute in May and have an idea of marrying in June.
Can u pls suggest me what can be done.
Is it possible for us after marriage to go for H1 and H4 together?
Will the Vo ask for payslips, IT returns etc.,
As i didnt start working as of now, i will not be having any such docs except the offer letter from the company.
Will this be a problem for me?
