Iam aware that we can go to any consulate, but I heard from few that when the consultant apply for LC to USCIS, they need to give the consulate to which the applicant will go for stamping. Based on this when we take the apmnt for visa, the consulate information is shown.
I tried last month for visa stamping in chennai and was given white slip. Instead of waiting for that to come, I decided to apply for 1 more h1b from other consultant.
This consultant says, don't worry, this time we give Delhi as the consulate for stamping. Not sure he is correct or not.
Anyone knows, whether he is telling correct info?
Bcos last consultant asked me to go to Delhi but I see no option to delhi consulate. It only showed me Chennai, so I went there.. to get white sheet..
Could anyone pls give me info on what new consultant mentioned is correct or not?
