How many date before Entry with H1B visa

I have one question, Before how many days I should enter into USA from employment start date.

Is within 10 days a must criteria. As my employment starts from july 1st. Is it okay if i travel on June 15th.

---- You should be fine traveling to the US by June 15th for a Job start on July 1st. However, at times the immigration office at the POE may enquire why do you want to enter before the period of 10 days, Be prepared with a confident and pleasing answer
