working on old H1B which was stamped but never used

Hi,

In May 2000 my H1B was stamped by company X but I never made it to USA on it and the visa expired in June 2002.

At present I am on L1 from company Y.

Question 1: Is there any such rule/policy in which I can use my old H1B approval and make it current?

Question 2: If it is possible, then can I get the H1 transferred to my current employer Y or should I contact the company X through which this visa was stamped?

---- NO. Your H1 B has lapsed covering the period of 6 years. You may have to apply for a fresh H1 only. There is no other rule after it hs lapsed

Question 2: If it is possible, then can I get the H1 transferred to my current employer Y or should I contact the company X through which this visa was stamped?

---- NO. Your H1 has lapsed and now it cannot be transferred nor renewed
