L1 to H1 after 221(g) on H1
Hi,
Please let me know if any one of you have any info regarding change of status after being issued 221(g)
Here are my details
I have applied for H1 in March 2006 for Oct 2006 quota through company A and L1 in May 2006 from Company B.
I got my L1 B visa from Company B and travelled to US in Sept 2006 and stayed until Feb 2007. I went back to India and appeared for a interview for H1 B stamping i was issued 221(g) by chennai consulate. I have moved back to US on L1 B in April 2007.
Here are my questions
Can i file change of status from L1 B to H1 while my H1 case is pending in the chennai consulate.
Please let me know if any one has encountered a similar issue.
