Wrong date of birth in I797 (Mr Subramanya plz reply)

Hi,
I received I797 from my employer recently but my year of birth is WRONGLY mentioned in I797. My employer told me that the attroney filled it incorrectly at the time of submitting my petition. My H1B visa interview is scheduled on next week. I'm really worried & don't know what to do.

I would really appreciate if someone help me out & let me know what to do now.

Hi,

Do not worry abt that, coz they are not going to check abt the details on your I797 at the consulate. I too had the same problem last year infact my month and year were toggled.The date of birth is looked from your passport.

So don't panic and stay focussed for your interview.
