Reg Re-entry into US (after H1b Transfer)- Seniors pls respond

Hi,

I had moved to a new employer this month and he had applied for H1 transfer.

In august i will be moving to India for my marriage and is it necessary that i need to have my visa stamped at the US consulate corresponding to the new employer for me to re enter US or can i come to US with the already existing visa accompanied by all other documents (valid H1 approval , new one etc).

Or would it be a wise decision to have it stamped from Canada before me going to India.

Could you pls drop your valuable suggestions.

You can go the present employer h1b stamping and re-enter using new employer h1b approval copy. Immigration will issue you a new I-94 according to the new h1b expiration date.
