I had applied for H1b extension and got the extension approved sometime in March07 for the next 3 years. But my employer says he has not received the approval papers and new i-94 till now. Now he says he will apply for a duplicate copy of the petition approval and new I-94. Is it possible for me to transfer my employer now without waiting to get the duplicate copy of the petition?

---when your 3 years expired ? if those expired in march then you can not apply, if you still have time then you can transfer with paystubs and again apply for extension from new employer...hope this helps.
Best way to wait for approval notice from current employer....
