H1 revalidation in canada

Can anybody suggest me going for h1 revalidation to canada. My old visa expires in Sep. and my new 1-797 expires next year and also my passport expries July2008.

Are there any complications in passport expiration dates and i-797 validity?

Where to get visitor visas(any website links?)
What would be the typical time period to visit canada after get visitor visa?
And the consulates which are problem free.
