I-94 Issue

Hi All,

I recently checked my I-94 expiring on July 2nd, because my Indian Passport was expiring on Jun 3rd 2007.

but i applied new passport in USA, i received a new passport two months back.

I am planning to apply H1b extension next month, my H1b valid up to Oct 1st 2007,

I Need to apply I-94 extension?
what is the procedure to apply

if not apply I-94 that is any effect of renewal my H1b?
