    Regarding H4 visa

    I have filed my H1 during April 2007 and I am on F1 right now.
    Can my wife apply H4 visa from India before month of october, if I get my H1 approval by July 2007?

    Hi
    Your wife should not take visa interview before October. As you will be on payroll (legally) with your new employer only after October.

      Yes she can apply for H4 once you have the approval, but she cannot enter US more than 10 days in advance of H1 start date.
