I-94 Expired

Hello,

I am a H1-B holder and my I-94 and my VISA expired last month, but my I-797 is still valid till one more year. I was under the impression that I could overstay with this condition. Am I in trouble? Please advise on the consequences and next steps...

The bottom of the I-797 will have the extended I-94. If you have that its fine. Otherwise check with your employer
