Query on H1-B

Hi,

I have applied H1B in 2006 and got petition not approved due to cap rejection.Again they hav filed the same petition in this year 2007 with out changing any dates in the petition and got Selected..
Here i have couple of Questions

a) So i get the VISA validity only to validity of petition
b) Tht petition wuld say i Have only 1 month exp in Company YYYY but now i have more than 18 months..So does this make difference while going for stamping...

Please answer to the above questions
